TAHIRA'S SWEET SI STORY!

For months we've been hearing about Tahira Kashyap new digital project, and I finally have new info on the short film.

 

For starters, it’s been named Pinni, after the popular Punjabi sweet. The movie will centre on an Indian homemaker and her relationship with food, with Neena Gupta playing the protagonist. Another fun fact is that Tahira’s script was inspired by her mother-in-law, aka Ayushmann Khurrana’s mom. Considering that Tahira’s debut film was called Toffee, it’s clear that food is her greatest muse!
