Imtiaz Ali has dropped plans to make a biopic on Madhubala.
The director had verbally agreed to terms with the legendary actress’s sister Madhur Brij Bhushan and was set to announce the movie right after the release of Love Aaj Kal, but sadly she was unable to convince her siblings to sign the deal. What’s even more disappointing is that Madhur was going to use the money she received to open a school to provide free education to underprivileged girls in Madhubala’s name. Let’s hope the family has a change of heart.
