A follow up to 2018's Veere Di Wedding is in the works!
Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor even have a team of writers already working on a script for a sequel to the female buddy flick. If all goes well then Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Sikha Talsania will reprise their roles in the dramedy that’ll pick up a few years after the first film ended. Veere Di Wedding 2 will stick to the formula of challenging existing social notions by looking at situations from a woman’s perspective. There’s no reason why it won’t work again!
